At a glance

6,705active listing records

A live view of marketed supply.

This snapshot analyzes active commercial records available through Commercially's authorized REALTOR.ca DDF® destination and any approved custom listings. It is first-party analysis of the site's current inventory—not a sales, leasing, vacancy, absorption or valuation report.

01 / Availability

How the inventory is marketed.

Transaction labels come from normalized source fields. A business opportunity can include real property, a leasehold interest, operating assets or a combination; review the individual listing.

For sale5,55982.9%
Business opportunities77511.6%
For lease3715.5%

02 / Property Type

The current sector mix.

Vacant Land is the largest source classification in the current feed, representing 56.3% of active records. This mix describes listing records, not the composition or value of Alberta's commercial building stock.

03 / Geography

Where active records are concentrated.

Edmonton currently has the largest city-labelled inventory in the feed at 743 records. Rural municipalities and communities can appear as separate source labels, so this is not a metropolitan-area comparison.

01

For buyers and tenants

Use inventory counts to identify where public choice is broad or narrow, then search the individual records and submit a requirement for gaps the public feed does not satisfy.

02

For owners

Active-listing density can help frame a competitive review, but pricing and positioning require comparable property analysis, physical and financial records, and the owner's execution objective.

For researchers

Use the aggregate dataset with its timestamps and definitions. Do not interpret listing counts as completed transactions, vacancy, absorption, market rent or demand.
