Commercially Intelligence / Live Sector Report
Live Alberta vacant commercial land inventory by transaction type and leading exact-city markets, with development-readiness limitations.
Current records
3,753commercial land listingsCommercial Land currently represents 56.1% of the 6,689 active commercial listing records in the Alberta scope.
This share measures source-classified active listings only. It is not a market-share, building-stock, demand, transaction or investment-performance statistic.
01 / Availability
Transaction type is normalized from source fields. It does not determine transaction structure, occupancy, tenancy or whether real property is included.
02 / Exact-city labels
These are the leading source city fields within this sector—not metropolitan areas. Rural municipalities and adjacent communities remain separate labels.
03 / Interpretation
Vacant Land is the largest source classification in much of Alberta's active commercial inventory. The count can include parcels with different municipal jurisdictions, planning status, access, servicing, environmental constraints, permitted uses and development timelines.
Listing volume therefore describes marketed parcel records—not developable acres, shovel-ready sites, approved yield, serviced capacity, land absorption or completed land transactions.
Counts update with the authorized feed and approved Commercially custom inventory. Missing source fields are not converted to zero or estimated values.
